ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!

One of the goals I had in making our film was to have someone I didn't know contact me to tell me they enjoyed the film. And that's actually happened - more than a few times!

It's amazing to me that someone actually chose to watch our film out of the blue, liked what they saw, and then took the time to reach out. It's kind of amazing, if you really think about it.

Granted, there are trolls out there who post mean poop too, but one kind word can just wipe that all away.

This week alone, I had a coworker in my office (someone I don't really know exceedingly well) tell me she and her fiancee checked out my film and loved it! She had heard I made a film from someone else in the office and just watched it out of curiosity. Lovely!

I also received a message from someone I've never heard of on Browntown's Instagram account. They said they checked out our film on Hoopla and that it was awesome! This surprised me for a couple of reasons, because: A) it was unprompted and B) I didn't even know our film was on Hoopla (or what Hoopla was).

To keep all of you in the know - apparently Hoopla is a free streaming service you can use to read or watch things with your library card. So there's another way to watch Browntown for you! Check us out! We can be found right next to the Brothers Karamazov!
