BROWNTOWN IS GOING TO PARK CITY, UTAH!

For those who don't know, Park City is the location of the Sundance Film Festival and our film WILL be screening there...one week after Sundance is over!

On Christmas, I received the excellent news that our film has been accepted to the Scorpiusfest Film Festival!

Never heard of it? Neither had I until I entered, but it's sponsored by an online film/music magazine and sounded pretty cool, so I submitted. And we're in!

This news was much needed since I had also gotten notice that we weren't accepted in another festival and was feeling a little blech. I mean, I know I shouldn't take the rejection personally, but you pour your heart and soul into something, and it's hard to remain impartial. Phooey.

I know our film isn't for everyone. I knew it when I wrote it. I think the best I can hope for is that people who do like it, LOVE it. That would be nice. :)

Anyhow, I'm happy we got our first festival acceptance! The festival is severly restricting attendance, so odds that I'll be going are slim. I don't have any other info outside of that, but stay tuned and cross your fingers for more good news in 2021!
