MORE NEWS PART II

The other day, I mentioned we received an Award of Recognition from IndieFEST for our film. Well, on top of that, we received an Award of Merit in the Best Supporting Actress category for Heather Reynosa, who plays Jen in our film!

This is an awesome award for an awesome actress, but I should quickly explain...

Many of the festivals I've entered offer additional prize categories for additional entry fees. And while I'd love to enter all of our cast and crew in these categories, my festival funds are limited. However, IndieFEST offered a free additional category, so after struggling with whom to nominate, I picked Heather.

In looking at all the roles in our film, Heather's role had the unique opportunity to be funny, crass, and sincere in various scenes, and I felt Heather nailed each of these moments (and I bet you'll agree too when you see the film). Therefore, I selected her for the extra nomination, and it appears my instincts were right! IndieFEST thought she was exceptional too!

I love my cast! I love my crew! But today, let's all give Heather the extra pat on the back she deserves! Congratulations Heather!
