OUR OWN LITTLE CORNER OF THE INTERNET

I know I haven't posted much about the film lately. There's not too much to say right now. My baby is all growed-up and out in the world now.

Our lead actress (Kendra) reminded me last month that it was our one-year anniversary of hitting the distribution sites. She even pointed out an entire Reddit thread dedicated to our film (no, it wasn't started by anyone I know). Granted, it's under the subheading of "badMovies" but it's fun to read!

I mean, there's a few people in the thread that are just out-and-out trolls, but I think a majority of the thread is hilarious! My kids and I were reading the thread a week ago and we were laughing so hard we were almost crying. Here's a sampling of the comments:

"Ah, your standard family comedy plot, seen it a hundred times."

"To be honest, I think if you put Adam Sandler in this Netflix would buy it for $3m."

"He made a special 'kids cut' where he redubbed everything to be about getting a 'heated butt massager' if he loses the weight and cut out all the other adult stuff. I have spent more time thinking about this today than doing my actual job."

"A conversation at the director's workplace...

HR: At what point did you think it was okay to film an anal sex movie on company property?

George: Well actually it’s a family comedy about anal sex.

HR: Get Out!"
