WE NEED YOUR REVIEWS - PLEASE?!?
I know - you've already done us a huge favor by supporting us and buying our film. But now, I need your assistance in a super-bad way.
Our film is out for the world to see. Unfortunately, this also means the world can comment (via internet). So we are getting pounded by "reviewers" (I use that term loosely) who haven't seen our film but just don't like our premise. They're 1-star bombing us.
Personally, I know the strengths and weaknesses of my own filmmaking skills, so I don't have a problem with legitimate reviews about that. What bothers me is a low rating average that's solely based on our premise, because this could scare away viewers who would actually appreciate some of the deeper lessons the movie provides. (Pun not intended - dangit!)
We REALLY, REALLY need all of you to go and and give our film a good score (if you loved it) to counteract the bad scores and bring up our average. And if you hated our film, just...be kind (or save some time and don't review it). I don't want you to lie - maybe just exaggerate a little. 😉
The most important places to give us reviews are Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB (links below), but please be sure to review us wherever you bought our film too!
