ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR DECEMBER

Not because of Santa (although I'm a huge fan!). December is the month we'll start hearing from film festivals!

I keep getting excited about the longshot film festivals (i.e. the ones we're not likely to get into). But that's part of the fun, isn't it?

It's like when the lotto jackpot reaches $500 million. You buy a ticket and daydream about all the ways you would spend that money, only to realize that time could've been spent doing something productive. Then again, so what? It's a helluva daydream!
