GOING OUT WITH A BANG!

When we last left you adoring fans, Dana and I were headed down to Film Threat's AWARD THIS! in Anaheim (Santa Ana, technically), and guess what? We were awarded!

It was a crazy, awesome affair where I met a bunch of filmmakers paddling the same boat as I (more of a liferaft, really). There were drinks, bizarre props, and gift bags! It was a blast!

The emcee for the event was the same guy who does the voiceover for Honest Trailers on YouTube (if you've never seen any, watch some), and he was hilarious! The presenters were extremely funny too.

We were nominated in 3 categories, and we won 1 of them - and I couldn't be more thrilled! After seeing the other films nominated, I was seriously just thrilled to be included. So to actually win something was fantabulous!

We won for Best Indie Made for Less Than the Contents of an Oscar Gift Bag (Under $100K)! I personally can't imagine spending that much to make a film, but I met loads of filmmakers that did (no judgement - honest!). We actually tied in this category, but a win's a win!
