ONE FINAL HURRAH!

This coming weekend, we're heading to what is probably our last outing for "Win a Trip to Browntown!"

As mentioned in earlier posts, we'll be going down to Anaheim for Film Threat's AWARD THIS! prize ceremony, and I couldn't be more excited!

To be clear, this is not a film festival. All the films at this event already have distribution deals and are being shown on various platforms. This is a ceremony to celebrate films that get made by the sheer passion and gumption of their creators. (I'm full of gump!)

There's a red carpet, cocktail party, trophies, and an after-party. It's like an Oscar party held for the residents of the island of misfit toys, and I'm proud to be a part of it!

Film Threat was one of the earliest film magazines I read when I thought about having a career in the movies. They highlighted films that were off the beaten path - films that you wouldn't necessarily see from a big studio. Movies where the story of the film's production were just as crazy as the actual movie itself.

Dana will be the one accompanying me on the red carpet, probably leading many folks to suspect she's some kind of glamorous star and that I'm merely the one who holds her purse. I'm so lucky! #AwardThis #triptobrowntown
