ONE MESSY BACKSTROKE

I'm exhausted.

Since coming up with the idea of this film until now, it's been close to four years. So that's four years of having a second (third? fourth?) job.

I have my regular job, my "property management" job, the film, and I'm a co-pilot of a family (I get paid for this job in hugs).

It's happened a few other times while working on the movie, but I'm just feeling like...ugh. Imagine trying to run across an Olympic-sized pool full of chocolate pudding. Delicious but impossible.

I'm pretty sure the pandemic has made this worse. Nowhere to go and very little to do (aside from work).

It's interesting - they asked a bunch of professional writers if they got even more writing than usual done during the pandemic since they were forced to stay at home. Nearly all of them said they actually accomplished less than non-pandemic times due to their mindset.

Mindgames, mindset, mindmatch?

I'm sure I'll get to the other side of this "pool," but for now, I'll just try not to sink. If you do see me go under though, toss me a can of Reddi-Wip.
