OUR FILM WILL SCREEN IN SEATTLE!

But it just won't be at SIFF (the Seattle International Film Festival).

So we heard back from SIFF, and it appears we were too hilarious for their festival (I'm assuming). As I alluded to in my last post, I think they're going for a slightly different audience than the one we cater to.

As a NW filmmaker, it's a little disappointing, but there's some silver linings to that cloud:

A) SIFF is going to be an online festival this year, so we're really not missing out on a screening per se, and...

B) We've entered a bunch of other festivals in and around Seattle, and I feel at least one of them will screen us. :)

Also, we WILL have a screening in Seattle where folks can come and see it. We know all the cast and crew (and friends and family) want to see this film on the big screen, and so do I! So late August (or maybe early fall), we're going to make it happen!!!

It has to happen after the pandemic is over because I plan on drinking, and when I drink, I hug. You have been warned.

So keep your eyes peeled here for more info around that time. Another thing to look forward to post-pandemic!
